The event brought together a large number of guest artists and celebrated Galician gastronomy in grand style, culminating in the prestigious Álvaro Cunqueiro National Gastronomic Journalism Awards ceremony. The Arzúa Cheese Festival is an iconic event that marks the start of the festival season in Galicia. In 2024, Global SetUp delivered a memorable production, and in 2025 it will once again ensure an unforgettable experience on March 14, 15, and 16. Featuring standout acts such as Arde Bogotá, Fillas de Cassandra, and La Plazuela, the festival reaffirms the trust of clients and artists in Global SetUp’s quality and professionalism.
In 2018, Lisbon hosted the Eurovision Song Contest, one of the largest and most high-profile events ever held in Portugal. Our team delivered cutting-edge audiovisual solutions, supporting an international-scale production. At the opening ceremony of Portimão – European City of Sport 2019, we delivered an immersive and innovative audiovisual solution. A standout feature was the 360º ceiling projection, created using lycra structures and projection mapping technology, providing a unique visual environment for attendees. Alongside this scenic installation, we also supplied sound, lighting, and synchronized visual content, ensuring a memorable show worthy of the European distinction awarded to the city.
World Youth Day 2023 in Lisbon was one of the largest events ever held in Portugal, bringing together more than 1.5 million people at the peak of the celebration, with Pope Francis in attendance. Our team was responsible for delivering the entire audiovisual operation at the event’s most iconic and demanding location: Parque Tejo. We deployed a massive technical infrastructure, with over 1,100 L-Acoustics loudspeakers, 2,700 m² of LED walls, and more than 100 km of fiber optic cable, ensuring flawless audiovisual coverage—with clear sound and powerful visuals for every participant—at a truly unforgettable event.
Since 2016, we have been involved in Rock in Rio Lisbon, one of Portugal’s largest and most high-profile music festivals. In the 2022 edition, we once again delivered a large-scale audiovisual operation in a venue defined by its diversity and technical complexity. With five stages running simultaneously and multiple brand activations, we provided complete sound, video, and lighting solutions. Also noteworthy was the ambient and architectural lighting across the entire City of Rock, helping create an immersive, visually striking experience both day and night.
